You won't have to worry about warping. I filled my gas filler door on my truck and warped it, but I am also just learning on my mig. If you go slow enough you should be able to do it.

Might this work on the lower rocker panel? It's the one under the floor pan that connects it and the outer rocker skin, that the door sill screws go through. I need to replace one and would LOVE to be able to do that myself.

I did do it right, didn't use what you said, don't have the expensive gun to use it with, it was another brand, both pieces WERE ground down to bare metal and it came right back loose. It's not got any worse but it's still cracked.

look into plio grip, redid the cab corner and rocker on my truck this summer and it only cost like $30 for all the glue I need and that chit is strng plus I painted inside it all and did not have to worry about burning or melting the paint with a welder. http://www.pliogripbyvalvoline.com/panel_bonding.html

Neighbor is a body man at the local GM dealer, said he hardly touches a welder anymore, almost all adhesives as the new vehicle panels are about as thick as a beer can.

This is the video I watched when I did mine. I went to a local autobody pait store and asked for the plio grip glue. You need a special gun to use the glue but the auto paint store that I bought my glue from let me use there demo gun for $40 then when I returned the gun I got all my money back.

I think the glue was $35 and the demo gun was like 40 or 50 but I got my money back when I brought the gun back.
