i installed 03 buckets in my reg cab. i was wondering if anybody knows if the plastic piece behind the window will stop my seats from reclining. i know i should be able to find out myself, but the power isnt hooked up to the seats, so i can't move them at all. im thinking there might only be like an inch or two of extra clearance.

Yeah, when I put buckets in my reg. cab, there wasn't much room to recline. I think I was able to take it back just a bit. I also had to scoot the seat forward just a bit to get clearance. If I recline too much or push the seat too far back, it rests on that panel and squeaks just a bit (leather on plastic).

I'd say you'll be able to recline just a bit, but not more than a click or two. If you scoot the seat forward, it would give you more room to recline, but not a whole lot.

hmm thats wierd. mine are power, how about yours? when i put mine in i had to pound out all of the humps in the way on the floor. i basically re shaped the floor where the seats are mounted to get the trcks straight. it was alot of work but not too much leg room. like i can eithr have alot of leg room but be sitting straigh up, or i can be laid back some but left with barely any leg room.

I have OBS buckets in mine (pre 95). I know when I put them in, even though I used the factory tracks, they were raised an inch or more up. I was kind of surprised. I figured the bench and the buckets would sit about the same height, but they didn't.
