I know what you are talking about. That had to be the the idea of the top crack smoker at GM. I would like to beat the crap out of that engineer. The only fix is another panel.

i removed the side panels up front by the windshield. while doing this the gold clips on most stayed in the frame and the lil plastic that held them onto it broke...anyone been threw this.

Yup, it's common. You can epoxy the plasctic piece back on but you have to be carefull when snapping it back onto place and if you ever plan on taking it off again it will rebreak.Originally Posted by 96tahoe2door
