Which ones did you get....do you have a picture of them? Do they just screw in over the factory or do you replace the factory ones?

Sorry it tool so long for some pictures i have been busy anyway i gave them a qucik wipe down beefore i took the pic but im sure if i got some mothers pollish and did a little buffing i could of got out half the marks...but i was thinking if i ever got a new set i would try to put some sort of clear bra like seal on them so they wouldnt get scratched to hell....i figured that would work if you cleaned them really good and then zoop sealed them and then put the cover over you would be in good shape...just a thought anyway heres mine...Originally Posted by steinfire

When you buy them why cant you take them and get em Powdercoated clear? I did this on my quad and it makes chrome stay shiny and so easy to clean. Might check it out!!![]()
I never knew they had clear powercoat...if i knew that i would of gotten that done. but how much does it cost? Is it worth the part(s) thats are getting powdercoated?Originally Posted by Velocity
I powdercoated my IROC wheels clear after I polished them. They've held up well, though now 5 or 6 years later the powdercoat has begun to show minor spiderwebbing. The powdercoat didn't discolor or come off though.
I know it sounds kind of cheesy but you could always just get some shrink wrap, or plastic wrap and put it on them then take it off for shows. That way you could keep them clean and they might not get scuffed up as much.
Thanks for putting up the pictures of yours.....how long have you had them. My billet pedals are getting pretty scratched up. I did have a pair of black dress socks over them for awhile but I figured why get billet pedals if your not gonna show them off.

What is the best way to get the shine back in my billet, I've let it get a little dull.
Mother's aluminum polish and either a power ball or a polishing cloth and elbow grease.Originally Posted by kedwards
you can go to a wheel shop and they will somtimes have a light acid that will take off oxidation. Mothers will work but I always like the easy way out. But yes i love my clear powdercoat, I use it on everything I polish and it looks great. I even use clear PC over my translucent peices to give it that uber shine. I am looking at doing that to my block and tranny- a translucent blue with tras blue suspension pieces.
I got some door sills last week from stylinconcepts(only b/c I had a gift certificate and they had free shipping)....they were $105 on stylinconcepts and are only $86 at ckresto. They are made by Empire motorsports are the exact same ones that ckresto sells. Here is a picture of them....called billet flamed premium
ignore the dirty carpet and mats
