Seat Won't lock

Hey,

97 z-71 ext cab.

Took my driver seat out (60/40, the one with the center console attached to it and a bucket for the passener) to move the shifter cable doing a body lift and when I put the seat back in, it won't lock from tilting fowards and backwards.

Anyone ran into this before?

Happened to me in my 98. I had to move the seat all the way back (horizontaly towards the back) and recline it fully and then wiggle it a little, it sounds dumb but it worked.

Same but I had to pull the seat out of the friggen truck, slide it all the way back...blah blah, ended up curing the problem.
