anyone ever done it? ive seen it in one truck before but he used a 2x4 to fill the space under the front that was left from the good 'ol hump in our floors. Just wondering if anyone sells seat brackets or brackets from another truck will work.
its for an '81

I put suburban buckets in an 82 a few years back. The suburban has an extra bracket that is spotted to the floor. Get that bracket and weld or rivet it to your floor. Then you will need to cut the rear leg of the tracks and bend it to fit the truck floor, weld it back together and bolt it all back together.Sounds like alot of work , but it might take an hour a side.
I have helped a guy do it, we just made some brackets out of angle iron and did it that way. Don't know if anyone sells brackets designed to do it though.
