alot of people choose to run the wires thru an existing hole, for the throttle body cable or the fuse panel. if you drill use a rubber bushing in the new hole to prevent wires chafeing (sp?)
1989 gmc sierra, 383 LT1 stroker, T56 , spec stage 3, eaton 4:10 posi, PST bushings,kp 6 link, conti's, the usual air stuff, some nice smooth imodium green sealer, some old 17's and BAM...a money pit!
on my truck i mounted the switch on the right side dash. i drilled the hole through one of the plastic covers that were for the cargo light(i think) that way there if i decide to take em off later i only have to replace that cover instead of the whole dash bezel. i'll post a pic up tonight when i get home if you want.
hey guys,
Pilot makes a wireless controller setup w/relays etc.. for around 20-30$$ no holes or firewalls breached....works good.
good luck,

I ran my wires through the existing hole under the passenger side of the dash.
