    Switch Positions and running wire through firewall

    I am installing a pair of kc lights on my grille guard and am trying to put the switch somewhere I was thinking to the left of the steering wheel so post up your pictures so I can see what ur setup looks like also where are you guys drilling threw the firewall to run the wires

    alot of people choose to run the wires thru an existing hole, for the throttle body cable or the fuse panel. if you drill use a rubber bushing in the new hole to prevent wires chafeing (sp?)
    1989 gmc sierra, 383 LT1 stroker, T56 , spec stage 3, eaton 4:10 posi, PST bushings,kp 6 link, conti's, the usual air stuff, some nice smooth imodium green sealer, some old 17's and BAM...a money pit!

    on my truck i mounted the switch on the right side dash. i drilled the hole through one of the plastic covers that were for the cargo light(i think) that way there if i decide to take em off later i only have to replace that cover instead of the whole dash bezel. i'll post a pic up tonight when i get home if you want.

    hey guys,
    Pilot makes a wireless controller setup w/relays etc.. for around 20-30$$ no holes or firewalls breached....works good.

    I ran my wires through the existing hole under the passenger side of the dash.

    on my old '00 chevy i took a coat hanger, stuck it through the gromet where the main harness comes through ont he driver side... taped the wire to the hanger and pulled it through.. worked perfectly fine for me
