I want a new look for my gauge cluster, but I've heard the escalade cluster I like (blue faced with chrome) out of the newer trucks won't work.
Is there any cluster that I can swap over without any problems? Will the newer silverado cluster fit and work? I can get odo reprogrammed, just wonder about functions and lights being on.
Thanks guys

If you have the NBS in your '99, you can get an Escalade cluster from 2001-2002. That's what I did on my 2000 Silverado.![]()

yea any truck/suv up to 2002 will plug in and work but you need to get the correct mileage programmed at the dealer/speedo shop. at the dealer they should only charge you about 1.0 labor just to program, because we have to call the GM techline and give them all the info on your vehicle and they create a special vehicle program, (vci #) so that we just program it with the correct options/ mileage so it will work. I would say an honest dealer would only charge you 1.0 hr labor , maybe 1.5 max.... good luck.

you can get an Escalade cluster in any of the three colors blue, white and silver, or a Denali cluster. what ever you chose make sure it is for a 1999, 2000-2002 wont work on a 1999.
