There are a few threads on it. None of them all that great, IMO. Im currently gathering parts to do the swap in my truck. Have most of them so far. Gonna take a ton of pics and document the process.

It's fairly straight forward. The brackets for the steering column need to be swapped and some holes in the firewall are slightly different.

I have my entire dash, repainted and all. Wednesday Im going to pick up door panels and some other items. Then Im gonna order door handles, sound deadening, and some other stuff. Im also devising a plan to mount the old digital controls comfortably into the new dash.

    Re: 95 dash to a 94 truck?

Are you planning on doing the whole interior or are you just doing the dash? I saw this carpet on the internet that supposedly has the sound deadening material built in the middle of the carpet and whatevers on the bottom of it.

I assume yours is a 94 or lower? Do you know how well the 95 and up door panels fit the curves of the door?

Oh, i just found your blogspot and it says its a 93, haha

Wait, the body styles are the same to 99 so i guess its the exact same door isn't it?

Ya, its a 1993. Im swapping the dash and the door panels. I will be swapping the seat once I locate some grey buckets or the 60/40 split bench with console, or the 40/20/40. Panels should fit the doors fine considering they are the same doors.

After I get my engine done i'm planning on doing the exact same thing. I hate the looks of the boxy dash in there right now.

Do you know if the air vents are in the same location as well?

Its all different, you'll just use the vent duct work out of the newer dash.
