    I got a 05 crew cab with a flood damage title. do yall think that Gm will still do the cluster replacement. someone told me that they should because that it is a safey hazard with the speedo not workin. Any help would be nice

    Do you have a warranty? If not, you have to pay. It would probably be a lot better to buy another cluster (stock, Denali, Escalade, SS, H2) and put it in yourself.

    my 03 had a recall on the cluster and if it ***s up they will replace it

    -4 Alpine type R 15's
    -4 Alpine PDX 1.1000 amps
    -1 Alpine PDX 4.450 amp for speakers
    -Alpine type X speakers all around
    -Alpine IVA-W200 6.5 touch screen
    -Alpine RUX-C701 controller for Alpine PXA-H701 multimedia manager

    i called gm they said the is no recall on a 05 only 03's 04's Im f$$k anyway

    Hey sorry what's this? Is there a recall on GM truck instrument clusters and where can I read more about it? I am constantly losing more backlighting behind my gauges and it's not an old truck - it's a damn 2004 3/4 ton for goodness' sake!

    Talk to a dealer. '03 and '04 clusters are warrantied to 7/70 now.

    It is not a recall. just an extended warranty to 70K miles.
