There is a metal bracket that is attached to the door that the screws screw into, that's what gives the arm rest it's strength. Check and see if everything is in the right place.

So, basically, every time I close my door I'm in danger of ripping my arm rest completely off. Some how, I managed to rip the one screw that holds it in out. I have no idea how I should go about reattaching/reinforcing it. I'll try to get pics tomorrow if that helps. Any ideas as to what I could do to fix this problem?
