    Hi I got a 1995 tahoe with the tach that stops at 5k. I want to get the escalade 120 cluster, but will the tach that goes to 6k be accurate and work ?
    95 Tahoe 4D, Flowmaster 40, Magnaflow cat/y pipe, TBI mods, TBIChip, Dyna Mod, B&M shift kit, 4.10s, nitto terragrapplers 285/70/17

    09 Silverado 1500 5.3 ecsb, Airaid Jr. Intake, Diablo intune diablew tuned....waiting for tcm support..

    If both trucks are V8's or V6's it will. If one is a V6 and one is a V8 it won't read right.

    Also if the Escalade is '00 and or newer it wont work. So it must be a '99 OBS

    '01 XCSB a few mods done to it.

    I want to make sure the tach will work right. I heard its fine then I searched and seen posts saying it has a different sweep that messes it up.

    The guy who offered his cluster has a 95 as well, so I assume it works if he used it.

    Nice for $75. I'm looking for a good Esky cluster or Police Tahoe Cluster.

    can that cluster be put in place of a 1992 obs 1500....ive got the tach cluster but its the old style witht he gauges across the top..

    It won't work on yours then. Only '95 and up until the OBS ended.

    Search ebay. I got my 99 escalade cluster with the 120 mph and 6k rpm for 50 bucks shipped. Works great.

    So can anyone verify that the tach will still be accurate ? Because mine is the tbi 5k tach
