88-91 doesn't have a separate DRAC module like 92-95; your speed buffer stuff is built into your dash cluster. So whatever aftermarket speedo you get needs to be compatible with 88-91.

How do you install aftermarket gauges in an obs. I've heard something about a drac unit or something. I want to put all new gauges in my 91.

It's a nice write-up, and it's cool to see he added the DRAC from the 92-up style so he's feeding the speed data back to the truck as it needs it.
Also cool to see he painted the panel black instead of going with aluminum. Aluminum panels look right in race cars, but with so much gray and black on the dash area of an OBS it just doesn't look right to me; black is the way to go. My opinion.
