Painless makes a harness i think that will plug right into your factory harness and then it runs to all the guages.

just swapped a 97 dash into my 88. want to do custom gauges and not the factory cluster. is there any special things i need to buy to wire them up correctly or will they work good if i wire up just to the factory wiring. any advice would be appreciated

think you still have to get sending units though but those should come with the gauges
