    Instr. Cluster Light Problem

Just bought 99 Suburban, and the instrument cluster illumination lights don't work (can't see speedo and guages at night). The little "icon" lights on the cluster work (seatbelt, DRL, etc.), and the guages work, it's just the illumination lights that are out.

Assumed it was the dash dimmer switch fried, so I changed that, but didn't work. I pulled the cluster out, and checked continuity on 3 or 4 of the Illum. bulbs and they were OK. Also checked fuse 4 in the box and it's okay.

Anybody have any other ideas I can try?

Found the problem. Was the parking lights fuse. I have no idea how that is tied to the instrument cluster lights, but replaced the fuse and they now work.
