Found something strange the other day. Had the blower cranked up defogging windshield, and I turned off the truck, went to get out, and noticed the blower is STILL RUNNING! Key out of the ignition, and this thing is still going..... Is it supposed to be connected to a constant 12v? Or is this some crossed wiring from a previous owner? I've had the truck a year and only just noticed it now.... I can't see this being a factory feature....

my dad had this problem with his 03 there was a prt i cant remember what it was called but it was basically like a relay or a switch under the hood that controls that from happening... damn i wish i could remember what it was called possibly the resistor im not to sure hopefully someone on here could help but for now take the heater fuse out of the main fuse box or it will kill your battery

The switch burnt up on my 98. You need to get a test light and wiring diagram.
