Alright,
In the NNBS trucks, particularly in the Avalanche, is there any difference in the 40/20/40 bench seat vs. the buckets w/console. I am talking in the individual seat itself. They look exactly the same to me. The "bench" seat isn't really a bench style, it seems to be the same as the "bucket" seat but with a center jump seat rather than a full console. Are the seats interchangeable?

Yes they will mount the same way. But I believe if you actually measure it you will find that the bucket seats are a bit wider. The reason I say this is I have put buckets into my truck and the seats rub up against the center 20 seat from the original 40/20/40 seats I had. I wanted to keep the center seat instead of going with the console like you normally have with buckets.
The buckets do move back and forth just they are a bit tight on the center seat.
Have a nice day.

not 100% sure on the nnbs but i know on 99-06 the 40 20 40 seats dont have arm rest.
Interesting info. I suppose I could go to the dealerhip and measure both. I was looking at some Katzkin seat covers but they are for a LT model with the buckets and I have a LS. If the actual seat is wider, it wouldn't work.
