set them in and fab brackets you need.
Ok so i took of the bench seat and the brackets off the bench .... bolted them down to the floor and think im going to run two bars across flat steel not tube thats just to show and mount the orginal buckseat bracket to thoes... what do u think the only thing i am worried about is it sits a lil high... anything i can do or if u guys know a better way of mounting them please please help... here are some pictures!!!
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!
anyone know....
mount them separate. that way you can get them nice and low.
build separate frames for each. dont skimp on the mounts beacuse that is the only thing holding the seats to the floor incase of an accident.
dont attach them to emt its not tubing and it sure as hell not strong enough to hold them seats in in case of an accident, not only that but they sit stupidly high like that, getting in and out of the truck will be a pain just mount them to the floor like jesus intended
Hated by Most - Feared by None
The emt was just to show i wasnt going to use is im confused on how to mount them direct to the floor ...cuz its not flat theres every curve u can think of .... any suggestions
I would use the factory seat mounting brackets in the factory location, and fab up some kind of adapter plate/bracket that allows you to put your new seats on the factory mounts.
