Mine have definately seen better days. I was curious how much it would cost to reupholster the seats in leather, because finding a good used set is nearly impossible.

I had mine redone dark charcoal leather, I had them stitch Yukon in the headrests with the 07-09 emblem font. I paid about 1300... Expensive man, but honestly I love them and get compliments all the time!

i have a tear in my leather seats and to replace just the bottom panel of vinyl is was going to be around 200. He said that it wouldn't look great because the bottom is new and the back is old. Guy said honestly just get some seat covers or have the whole thing replaced. So i would go with seat covers because unless you can get a used set its going be alot.

The $200 that CountryChevy mentioned is more of the prices I've heard of but I do believe it's a vinyl replacement piece grained to simulate the leather. I've got a '93 Suburban here where someone replaced the bottom sections in the past and they look great, still look new, but the upper parts are torn and cracked now. Pretty sure the bottoms are not leather. I've heard the price tossed around of $160 for each section of the cover, meaning $320 for the top and bottom piece, not including labor. But I don't know where to buy them. I've seen the covers for sale on the web but a bit higher than that.
I'd like to know as well because I've got two sets of leather power buckets that need recovering.

You can buy replacement seat covers at GMpartsdirect.com. And replace them yourself.
yep, my 95 has seen better days, but overall it's held up pretty well..
time to do a little TLC and go another 240k miles? Although I'm having trouble figuring out the exact color code. The seats are more of a putty color than tan? Can anyone tell from the photo the seat color code?

Here's where someone recovered OBS seats. I believe the covers are what Katzkin provides and are also available on ebay.

the autumnwood metallic is more like a bronze accent along the rocker panel, I'll post a picture tomorrow. It's not very rare, I've seen several around the Dallas area.
When I got my truc the seats were already redone along with the headliner and visors. I pesonally dont like em but they will work until I can afford to get a set of 84 LeSabre pillow buckets.
I'm lucky, my leather is in great shape, but I have an upholstery shop and have been doing it for 33 years. If I re-do mine, I will likely use urethane, it looks and feels like leather, not like vinyl and it's cheaper and more durable. It even acts a bit like leather in that it adjusts to your body temp quickly so it doesn't feel as cold or hot as vinyl does. Still, properly done, a pair of buckets like the OBS has will run $600-$700.
