Has anyone put a inside rear window or gate release in their Suburban / Tahoe? I have a 03 Sub and want a way to "get out" when inside the rear area-

Re: Suburban rear gate release inside?

I have a 98 Tahoe and was thinkig about doing the same thing. What I plan on doing is tapping into the switch that is on the dash, running the wires to the back and installing a switch for the rear occupants. The switch on the dash already has the safety feature that the rig must be in "park" before it will work. So no little fingers 'accidently' popping the back hatch while we are driving down the road.
