swapping seats from nbs to oobs

I am hoping to swap seats from my bench seat out of my 87 k10 to bucket seats from a nbs with the flip up console. Also i am trying to decide where would be the best place to get the seats from.

A local junk yard would be your best bet to find the seats.

Will there be any serious fab to mount the seats up? which if it dont work i won't be out a whole lot of money.

Worst case, you should be able to take the seat itself off of the sliders and use some flat or angle iron to build an adaptor to your stock seat mounts. The floor shapes seemed to stay somewhat consistent with chevy trucks, I know at least from the 60's to the 80's. Not sure if that continued on with the 88+ trucks.
