Keyless entry doesnt work. New Battery still no workie. The power lock switches work fine on the doors. Its a 2 button remote. 97 K1500 chevy. GM part # 162445100-29

Does anyone know how to get these things to work after replacing the battery? Mine went dead so I replaced the battery, know only the lock button works and the horn, you cant unlock the truck, 2003 z71
Check the solder joints on the board in the remote itself. I know on the newer model remotes the battery clip likes to come unsoldered from the circuitboard. I've found that just a little solder touchup does the trick.
