I have a '00 OBS tahoe which has the power window lockout switch in the driver's door panel. This switch is broken and missing parts, so the power window switches don't work for any of the passenger doors but work fine from the driver's panel.
Instead of spending the money for a new switch I'd rather just rewire and override the switch. Its only four wires but I'd like to know which to bridge. I don't want to just jumper each one of them as i don't want to fry anything accidentally.
Any quick diagrams on the function of the power windows with this switch?
I think there are two larger wires, blue and yellow, and two smaller wires brown & black. I tried jumpering the two large wires but the passenger switches still didn't work.
any help would be appreciated.
