Seat compatibility for 1996 Ext-cab?

I've got a 1996 Extended cab Silverado with manual buckets/center console. I want to switch out to a 60/40 bench, but not sure what years are compatible? Is it just the 95-98 model seats that will fit, or will a split bench from 99-09 fit as well? Thanks in advance.

i wouldn't know, but now i really want to know. i've wanted bench seats for a while and i'm curious to see what fits if anything. great question.

88-98 will work, as will 99-up. The 99-up you might have to drill new holes in the floor. With the 88-98 you need to drill 2 holes on the trans tunnel.
