Ok dammit!!! This is the second FSC/GMC that I've had this problem with. This time it is on the Y2K Denali. The display on the interior mirror has gone out. Every now and then it will have one of the parts on the numbers flash up there but that is it. Is there a way to fix this thing?

    Re: Interior mirror display

Good luck getting someone on here to respond about this. I asked a quastion about a blinking mirror display and got zip. This is a known problem according to two different dealers in my area so it is not something that has only happened to you and me.

it should be a regular comp/temp mirror. hit up ebay or your local junkyard and just replace the whole mirror.

This is what I did. Problem solved for $35.00. Was however hoping some of the GM techs that troll around here would help out.

I've seen it happen on an 05 Tahoe. My guess is that's it's probably bad solder joints on the board in the mirror, that evenually shake themselves loose. Unless you can take it apart and fix it you're probably gonna have to replace it.

I've been the ebay route twice in the past with limited results. I'm more than willing to rip it to shreds to see what I can find but I was hoping that someone had beat me to it.
