Remote to unlock my doors

Since I am adding power windows and door locks to my truck, can I also get a factory or aftermarket key fob to unlock my doors to work with the factory door cards?

So, anyone that has added factory power windows and doors locks to a non power truck don't use a remote to unlock their doors by remote?

If your truck didn't come with them from the factory, chances are you don't have the receiver in your truck. Even my 95 and 96 that came with power everything doesn't even have the receiver from the factory.

ya u can either spend the dealer price and get the reciver or go to a yard and take your chances and find a useable set up. or get a after market alarm with keyless entry. hell even with a good alarm u can get one that will roll your windows up or down. viper makes one that will.

I just got off the phone with the stealership and they said the part I need is discontinued. I did talk with my friend the mechanic and he also suggested Viper as well, he used them on his 86 Silvy.
