I bought a 94 gmc stepside a little while back and it ended up turning into my project truck. I just finished up getting the parts on it so it can be inspected and next I'm turning to the interior so it looks presentable on the inside. Does anyone know where I can get the center console that came in those trucks? Also the passenger arm rest needs to be put back on but the part that stops the arm is missing, any ideas?

I've not seen any aftermarket companies that make reproductions of the 88-94 consoles. Give them time, maybe. When you look for these consoles, watch for broken mounting tabs where the console bolts to the floor. It's a bit of a weak link and the console will wobble if they're too far gone.

That is what is the problem with mine, I noticed the the tabs are snapped right by the bolts. Thanks for the go to sites.
You could maybe patch them up with some epoxy or something...seems I saw a picture where someone did that and used larger washers to help hold it down.

Mine were broken when I bought it four years ago. I put some large washers in and I haven't had a problem since.
