Need help with 12v

Hello everyone, I have a 1984 C10 Scottsdale which I decided to play with yesterday. So I opened the cig lighter socket and saw what seemed to be a stubborn piece of dirt and I poked it with my screwdriver to take it out. That was the most stupid thing I have done since shaving my eyebrows.

I saw a spark and heard something snap or pop, and then the clock on my dash stopped working instantly. Everything else works except for the clock and the socket.

Anyone out there kind enough to tell me what might have happened?

Hi, thanks for your answer. Though I still have more questions.
Where can I find the fuse box?
What parts do I need and how do I fix it?
If it has to be done by a shop, how much am I looking at?

on an 84 the fuse box is beneath the dash, right beside the emergency brake.

kneel down outside the truck on the driver side with the door open.

look beneath dash.
