So on my Tahoe it can read the temp on the rear view mirror like most trucks and suv's. Ever since I got it it's always been stuck at reading 60 degrees. Anything I gotta do? I never had this feature on a vehicle before

u wouldnt know wehre would u? and how much they are?
Here is a older quote from someone on here concerning retrofitting one into a older chevy.
I got mine from a Salvage Yard. They said it came out of a 2000 Suburban.
It has Outside Temp and Compass. It was a piece of cake to install. I went to the Chevy Dealership and bought the temp sensor (I think it cost me about 13.00) and mounted it up front of the grille.
If you decide to go that route there is a thread here somewhere with the wiring instructions.
You will need to run a wire from the sensor to the mirror.
A wire to a power source
A ground
and there is a wire that goes to your reverse lights to cancel the auto dim feature when backing up
