Ok, so I finished installing a new ignition key switch thing, due to the fact that I could pull the key out and it would still run.
Its on an 84 k10,and I'm trying to make it look better interior wise, after tampering with the engine.

I put the steering wheel back together, and plugged the battery back in, but now when I turn the steering wheel the horn goes off. How do I fix this.

Oh, and now I can't get my steering wheel back off to get to anything... how do I get that off?

    Please, and thank you?

This is a similar setup to what my steering/horn assembly is like.)

    Re: horn help please

sounds like the wire connector in the steering wheel fell off and is touching ground. Does your horn button work too, or is it only turning the wheel that make it go off. Also, the wire might be holding the steering wheel in place, kind of like a key or pin so you might have to force it off to fix it. that is if you haven't figured it out already
