99+ lifted rear seat

does anyone have any idea how to do this? i figued im just going to cut some L beams and weld them to make a block and then get longer bolts would this work fine? i need to take my backseat out to tint my window seal the window up clean up some and do a little stereo work and i figured i might as well lift the seat to get some more room for subs, also are the bolts like the ones on the 88-98 body stlye truck for the front seats they just go threw the floor board and have a nut welded on the bottom half? i need to knwo that to figure out how long of bolts to get to replace the other ones. anyone have blueprints for this? also is there anything i shoudl knwo before i do this

if you peeked back there you would see that the nuts are what you remove to get the seat out. This means that the bolt is really a stud that is welded to the floor. So just getting longer bolts is not an option. The lifted bracket will have to be secured to the floor with the original nuts (on the exsisting studs) and then the seat will have to be bolted to the lift bracket with new botls.

I just pulled my reat seat out today and plan on doin the same thing.
