Well I have the same gauges you are going to install I think so let me give you some pointers. You should let your truck sit over night. Then go outside and start it up and take a pic of the gauges or make sure you get good details on them (location). Then turn the truck off, take off the dash bezel, and there are 4 7mm bolts that hold it in. Once you get the bolts out, the cluster just comes out. Then take off the needles AND the black face from the cluster. Install the face, and make sure to remove the plastic cover from it. There is a fine plastic cover over the thing that you wouldn't this was there, until it starts to bubble on you. I just got a knife and cut the corner a little so I could get it started and pull it off.Originally posted by lowryder99
How do I go about doing this? Obviously pull the front of the dash and I assume there are bolts holding the cluster assembly in? How does it disconnect?
And when installing do I remove the factory face of the assembly? And can I just mark the guages after I start the truck or do I have to let it warm up?
Thanks guys!
If you need anymore help PM me.
Note: To get the dash off and such u need to set the parking break, put the truck ignition to start (not run) and then put the truck in 1st.
