im ordering my 6.5" cepek soon, and i want something a little different than what everyone else around me has, which is black, either glossy or flat. so i think im gonna paint it. i dont want something retarded, thats gonna look like some goofy mexican't job, like bright orange with gold flake. just something simple, like the truck is already. whats gonna look the best and match well with just a plain white OBS ECSB truck, still with badges and rocker panel tape and a flame grille? i was thinking maybe just red? any suggestions?

You can order you DC lift powdercoated any color you want. I think that it cost an extra $100. Thanks, Brett

yeah man just get it powdercoated. that way you will never have to worry about it chipping or peeling when something hits it. it also looks much more clean.

It also depends on your interior color. I think the older Gray ProComp lifts looked good. I had one on my white '90, with blue shock boots custom blue Z71 stickers. I am a fan of blue. Red would also look ok. I would keep it simple like red, blue, white, etc. And I think colored susp. stuff looks good.

Powdercoat is the only way i would go. Depending on the color of your truck something just a slight off shade of that would look good, just do get to wild and out there.

DC powdercoats them grey, but they will do the lift a different color for an additional $100.

What color is your truck? I have a metallic green and I had a yellow powdercoated lift...and I had nothing but compliments. It stood out and all the people at school always said, "I know if it's your truck cuz it has the yellow underneath." There was no doubt that they saw my truck...
