Just bought 285/75/16 BFG A/Ts on Eagle 101s. Problem is the tires rub against the bumper and inner fender well. I was looking at a Trailmaster 3" lift. Question is can I get the same lift with new torsion keys and spring hangers ?? Any ideas ??

Put a 1 inch block in the back, ford keys and level it out. Seen it done like that on a suburban, with 305 and 16 x 10. Will look good.

Do I need Ford keys or will any aftermarket key work ? Will I need to adjust the TBs ? I saw a kit on e-bay for $140 for the keys and blocks.

Not too bad, but you can go to a Ford dealership and get keys for $50, then go to pep boys, autozone, or wherever to get a block for like 20. I odered a tapered 3 inch block with the u bolts for 70, plus fifty for the keys. But local auto place should have a block to satisfy you for around 20. I have a nbs, so i just replaced the factory 2 inch block with a three.

Look at the sticky thread at the top of the offroad forum. It will give you part numbers and instructions.

You should just be able to crank to get it level, and that'll do it..but I'm betting your rims have the wrong offset, which is causing the rubbing.

4" Offset with how wide of a rim? 16x8 with 4" Offset should make them stick out enough to not rub...but 16x10 with 4" wouldn't be enough.

Rims are 16x8. Tires are only rubbing while turning. I removed the plastic valance, but they still hit the bumper and inner fender. Dont really want to mess w/TBs

those cheap lifts that are under 6" or 4" for rancho, so that means all the 3 inch lifts are junk i hear. Most will agree they are no better than cranking the torsion bars. serach for rancho or skyjacker or rough country 3 inch lift, they are all pretty much the same.
