A set of lift spindles would do it. The fabtech kit uses a set of 3 inch coils and a trac bar / shock drop bracket for the rear.
You could get away with a set of 3 inch spindles up front and 2 sets of .75 in spacers for the rear.

Ive got a 2002 Tahoe LS 2wd and want to lift my truck about 3 inchs without doing a body lift. What would be the best way to accomplish this?
What would be the biggest tire i could run with a 3 inch lift?
I know that I can crank my torsion bars but how can i accomplish a lift for the rear?

Not a big deal in the rear IMO. I just put one on top and one on the bottom. No vibrations, no weird ride. He has te ORU Bilsteins. I dont see how it would be dangerous at all. There is no way the spring can come out unless you disconnect the shocks and swaybar anyway.Originally Posted by w33m4n0268

thats for 4x4's the 2wd's have coils up front and no torsion bars correct?? in that case torsion bar keys will do you no good.

look for spindles. It may be expensive I did a quick search but all the lifts I found were 4-7 inches and over 1k.
You can use spindles or coils to lift the front

Maybe I'm wrong I thought both the 4wd and 2wd Tahoe's have coils and torsion bars up front.
edit: just went and looked underneath my Tahoe and i have torsion bars.

ok so if you have TB's then you can just crank away. Also look into spindles.

If you have torsion bars you cant lift the front with spacers.
You can crank up 3 inches in the front and put blocks or add a leafs in the back
cranking tbs causes a worse ride though
Im not familiar enough with your type vehicle to help though.

No his rear suspension is coil sprung, so he needs the spacer for the back. You can probally get spacers in just about any height but it all depends on how much you want to crank your front.

1) Crank the TBs
2) Get new spindles
The problem is for the rear I cant find a big enough spacer...I have found 3/4" the biggest...I have found several 2 inch spacers but they have all been metal and I want urethane because they are a lot safer...

Not true about polyeurathane being safer. I have a 04 Z71 Tahoe, and I put ford keys up front, and 1' suspension maxx spacers in the rear, and they are metal.
Can i get a picture of your setup and stance?Originally Posted by whiteZ714x4
Will those keys that you have work on a 2wd?
Where did you get your keys and spacer from?
