    Re: how bout this sfa

Look good to me, still curious how long those cartridge joints in the rear hangers will last as Ive yet to hear of them surviving well in a fullsize thats used on other than the pavement.

If there is a backing plate on the rear bracket and on the front bracket they look to be fine. This is all provided the welds have enough penetration which is just something you'll have to assume unless you want to do some destructive testing.

Still not sure why you would put a panhard on a set of 52" springs, seems totally unecesary to me.

the idea looks good. i'd seriously look into a front crossmember rather than those hangers though.

a front xmember would be nice, however willyswanter had ORU hangers and bashed on his truck for a few years, even put dents in the front hangers with no problems, they are now on a second truck with no problems

make sure not to confuse them with Offroad Direct, alot of people do... quality with the Offroad Direct kit is garbage, while the ORU is pretty decent.

Why isnt a panhard needed on 52" springs? Is this statement only true for stock height 52s? What do you think of the panhard bar setup???

I was talking about the stok height 52's, yes. They are near flat, they locate the axle laterally just fine, seems like the panhard is just adding a bit of bind to the system that you really don't need with that little spring lift.

Ok thanks bggrn. 2 more bolt holes in the bottom of the front hanger wouldnt hurt either on that kit.
