I have a basically stock height 04 z71 and i want to put some 18's with 33's on it, Do you think it will work? And if you have pics could you please post?

I plan on putting a body lift on it also but i want the new wheels and tires first, i also want them to stick out just a lil bit so what backspacing do you recomend? Also how much would tires be? Thanks

I have the XD Series Badlands in bronze 18" can't remember the back spacing, but they stick out about an inch. I'm running toyo M/T's 33x12.5 and with the 3" body lift and factory torsion bars cranked it still rubs at full turn. I did some inter fender well trimming, but need to do more. I love the rim/tire combo, but wish I would have saved for a 4" suspension lift instead of the body.

Thats basically the same setup i want.. If i went with a skinnier tire and a little trimming do you think it would work? even though i dont really want a skinnier tire...

Stick with a 285/60/18 and 18x9 wheels at the widest and you should be ok with a little crank. Also, make sure your backspacing is close to stock.

Built tranny sitting in the bed waiting to go in. Good things to come...

With a 3'' body Id go 33 12.50's on 10'' wide rims because ive seen it done and know it works out just fine. But if you hve worries go with an 8'' wheel, 33 12.50 is a perfect sized tire with a 3'' body lift IMO.

My truck with the 305's on before the body lift. Slight crank and only rubs slightly at full lock to the left

similar setup that i ran before my lift, rubs the upper shock mount on the driver side and the protuding bolt coming out of the frame on the passenger side
