    does anybody know if there is a thread on here or maybe some info on swapping a my 350 vortec for a 454 vortec ive found a complete motor and wiring also may have a whole suburban that i may be able to pick up cheap, my ride ia a 2000 obs z71 tahoe as far as i can tell the motor is a bolt in affair. trying to find some info if the wiring is near plug in play ordeal or P.I.T.A?? any ideas?
    2000 OBS Z71 Tahoe, procomp 6"+3" bl, 37/12.50/17 pro comp extreme ATs
    1998 chevy Z71 ext cab, decranked keys and lowering shackle in back on 285/75/16 bridgestone dueler ats, (my economy car)

    I cant help much, but are you gonna swap in an 80 behind it as well? Id assume your gonna have to swap harnesses, would be a great time to swap in the much much stronger tranny too.

    depends, if i pick up this 3/4ton burb' i will ive found a complete motor for 800-900 wires and all might see how long the 4l60 can live depends on the budget

    Understandable. Just since the 80's gotta be wired in, would be great time when you put the harness for the other motor in.
