maybe this question will do better posted here..i'm looking at getting a set if Bilstien 5150 model for my 84 with 6" lift with springs at rear (not blocks).. anyone have them or know of anyone? curious about the ride quality and if it improves any?
I doubt it.
I had an '04 1500 with the superlift bracket kit lift on it with the dual front shocks, body lift, ford keys cranked, taller blocks in the rear and 37's...I first ran the super ride shocks that came from superlift and it rode rough, but that is what I was expecting out of a lifted truck. The shocks wore out after a year and I bought some Bilstein 5100's not really expecting much...after those shocks were on it rode dang near as good as stock. I will never buy another brand ever again. I am SOLD!

OneLoud do you sell the Bilsteins? I saw you were a RC dealer and was just wondering about a price on the adjustables for my 09?
I can, but I am not out to rip anyone off and honnestly www.shockwarehouse.com can get them to you cheaper than I can.

I ran the shocks my lift came with and they were exactly what the name said.......Fabcrap!! I just installed some Bilstein 5125's and its night and day difference. Went from a rough ride all the way to like floating on a cloud , not kidding.... But like posted above im sold and now i have to buy another set for my new lift ha ha.
