im looking to get some new rims on my 05 silverado and i just want the tires to stick out maybe an inch. the rims i like are 4.50 backspace and -11 mm offset. can anyone give me an idea if they will stick out at all or what size i need for them to stick out of lil bit?

Well, what we need to know is the width and backspacing of the stock rim and the width and backspacing of the rims you want to get.

Idk what the specs of stock NBS wheels are, but for illustration let's say they are 7 inches wide with 4.5" of backspacing. That gives you 2.5" of wheel past the hub. To get wheels that stick out an inch farther than those, you would want wheels that stick out 3.5" past the hub. So in this example an 8" rim with 4.5" of backspacing would be perfect.

Those numbers are only an example! I do not know the stock specs!

ya i dont know them either the ones i want are 17x9s and i think the stocks and 17x8

By steelies are 4 inch back space. My truck is 2wd but my tires stick out a bit. So if you want 4.5in BS they'll stick out less
