    2001 Z-71 Rear Options

    I just picked up a 2001 Z-71 and there are issues with the rear. I was going to re-build it but was wondering if the rear from a 1500 HD was any stronger and if it would bolt right in?
    The truck has a 6" lift and 35s on it.

    Options, opinions?

    Idk about it bolting right in, but the axle is a 14 bolt and stronger

    You would have to swap to 6 lug, 1500HD's are 8 lug, not sure on the perch widths.

    VMax and SS trucks got a 14SF in 6 lug that would be a bolt in.
