    i am wanting to do install 2" lift coils rather then a spacer because my stocks springs are wore out. i have a 94 silverado and am wondering if i can just install the 2" lift coils with the rest of my factory suspension?

    You prolly could, but I heard that lift springs make the front ride extremely stiff. I'm lifting mine with a 2 in daystar spacer, and I hear that they keep ride conditions similar to stock. Ever thought about going with the spacer and getting some new stock springs? All of this is hearsay, but I should have everything installed in a few weeks and I'll be able to let you know on the spacers at least.

    If you want springs, get springs. I doubt it makes much difference on ride quality, spacers change the spring rate as well making it stiffer.

    It's up to you, but a lot of it comes down to the springs you have and whether they are progressive or linear in their spring rates. A linear spring doesn't get stiffer when you load it, where progressive increases the spring rate under greater loads. I've heard ppl say that lift springs give a rougher ride, but if you go with a spring let me know what you think, I'm curious how it works out, I'm going with a spacer myself currently, might try some springs later just to compare
