Finished up my truck last weekend, thought I'd post up. I was bored of the RCD 6in. kit (for sale btw $450).

Current plans are to switch to 315's on the next set of tires, and painting the fenders. Should look much better after that. Then, tackle the rear suspension+shock hoop+rear bumper.

Thanks dude! That's kinda what I was shooting for. It sits at the same ride height as my old 6in lift, I think any higher and it doesn't look as good.

    Here are some more:

Wow I figured the hub would be too big to fit through the center hole on the rim.

Re: My 2000 2wd, redone suspension

Ok ya, I should've added some details. The axle flange diameter has to get turned down a small amount to fit through half ton wheels. *The wheels must have a 4.25in center bore, no big deal, most aftermarket wheels do. Stock wheels and wheels made specifically for GM half ton run a 3.something inch center bore.

Depends on the center bore of the wheels you want to run.

Awesome. How much did that set up run you? If you don't mind me asking.

Re: My 2000 2wd, redone suspension

I'll have about 1500 into the thing all said and done. Got the axle off CL for real cheap. Then bought all the stuff I couldn't make. Luckily, machine work only cost me a couple 18 packs haha. It helps big time knowing someone with access to a lathe.

My options at the time were: rebuild the 10-bolt completely, custom 9in, or either of the 14-bolts. I always tell people- cheap, light, strong- you can only pick 2.
