I got myself a 82 C30 Dually with a 454 in it. I have a build thread in here under that section. Now that i got it running and stopping I want to slap a lift kit on it. I don't want to go to extreme that I start wearing out parts quickly, just something to make the truck look a little more badass haha I am thinking maybe just a mild 2 inch lift? However I just cannot find info on this subject. Where can I get a lift kit? What am I going to be replacing? I can figure out how to do it but I just want to know what I am getting myself into. Thanks for the help guys!

    Nice, going for a lift!

Might look at some coil spacers and blocks. Also check out Fabtech,, I think they used to make lifts for a truck like yours but im not sure if they still do..worth checking out though

is your front end leaf sprung?? if so then you can either get some longer shackles or will have to get new leaf springs.

I almost wish it was, I think that would make lifting it that much easier. But the front has coils I just figured out

The blocks go in between the axle and the leaf springs in the rear.

The coil spring spacers go on the top or bottom of the coil.

Check out Daystar or Springtech and maybe some others. See if they have a set for your truck.
