Hey Guys,
I just wanted to poke my head in and say hello. I have lurked on this forum, on and off, for a while now as my buddy has an '02 Silverado Z71 and I help him out with the internet research prior to repairs or theoretical modifications. You could be the first successful Chevy resource like this so I think you have really hit the jackpot with this sub-forum. Keep contributing as you learn or what you already know and build the membership. Coming from the perspective of someone from the Jeep/Toyota communities, the knowledge porential of a board like this is endless and priceless. For Overland and Expo applications your trucks can be every bit as capable as the smaller foreign SUV's and rovers and the Jeeps too, and even more capable in other ways such as cargo capacity and towing.
I recently converted over to an FJ Cruiser myself but I was into Wrangler expo stuff for years. I am currently doing research for some stuff I am building for his truck... He bought it new and now that it is past the 150k mile marker he is finally comfortable with modifying it for longer expo style trips.
If there is anything I can post to help out I will try to do so. I am far from an expert on the Chevy end of things but every little bit helps, right?
Keep posting and KEEP THIS SUB-FORUM ALIVE!
Congrats Guys!

Im glad that 454ss was willing to put it up this sub forum and give it a shot. Definitely post up some pics of your ride.
