I have 285/75/16 tires on my truck in my sig and the wheels have a 4.51 BS, I would say that amount of back space or so.

hey everyone, looking to know whats best for offsets.
i drive a 98 chevy, regular cab short box, with a 3 inch body lift, 6 inch suspension lift, and a bunch of other stuff... so i bought 37x13.50r17 super swamper tsl's and now im looking at finding rims, but ill admit im clueless about what i should get for an offset, i know i want a negative but don't know how much would be best? i want enough offset that its not going to rub but not to much where ill have tires that stick out 5 inches.. any and all information anyones willing to give would be appreciated and pictures even to if you don't mind, this truck is my baby and i really want to get the right rims!
thanks! :)

1987 Monte carlo, 2/4 drop, 383 stroker, 16" M/T street/strip tires
You sure it's a totally different world up there, I dont really know what there all aboot
thanks to BOTMAN and 1988 GMC 355 for sticking up for me a lil there lol, i do know both standard and metric... and i do know a lot about trucks i was just hoping for some advice from other people on what they've done and looks good, really just don't want to be buying rims and sending them back a bunch of times to find what looks good..
Well with a 13.50 inch wide tire a wheel with 4.51 in. or 4.75 in BS would work well I think and with a 6 in lift and 3 in body lift you won't have rubbing issues.

I think that when you look on web sites now a days everything is in milimeters. So you have -25 or -12 or just plain 0. Some people doesn't know what that equates to. There is a good write up about this on Gmfullsize.com I will look for it.
