If you're getting new wheels anyway, I'd go with 16s. Much more variety in tire sizes.

Ive got a 90 standard cab short box, 2wd gmc 350ci. has the 4x4 flares on it. The truck is in REALLY nice shape, so I dont want to beat on the fenders. to fit tires. It still has stock wheels, tires and suspension. they are teh 5 spoke aluminum 15" 5 lug wheel and 225/75/15's. The truck looks a little silly with the stock tires size and the stock wheels being so far into the fender well with the flares.
I will be upgrading to a 15x8" wheel. havent picked yet, but it will be between -10and -20 offset to kick the wheels out towards the flares more. Now I know a 31x10.5 will fit bone stock even on stock wheels without rubbing. I was thinking about the goodyear duratracs. Or bfg a/t's. Would the 32x11.5 bfg fit stock also? Or would I need a slight lift in front? its an uncommon size and I dont see much fitment info on it. I really like a stuffed look, I like my wheel wells filled up as much as possible. I wouldnt even mind running a 33" on it. I dont want to lift it much, I would like to leveling it out with a 2" lift up front though if it will let me stick a larger tire on. Pics would be very helpful. thanks.

I could do that I suppose. More tire size options doesn't help me know what I can fit on the truck though. So what will fit in 16" and 15" then? This is my first truck. So I. A little new to this stuff.
Well I have a 94 2wd silverado. And Im looking at the 4inch Rough country lift. And the biggest i can go is 31x10.5 without trimming.
31x10.50s fit without any issues on stock trucks although they may rub offroad. If they have the size you want, General Grabber AT2 is an amazing tire. I've had both BFG AT and the General AT2 and the General tires are much better in every way. I use 235/75R15 on steel 15x7s.
Why do you want taller and wider tires? What gears do you have?
