    Hi guys,

I'm reviving our old 99 Honda Foreman 450S and got caught up on the rear brake today. I had to completely rebuild it as it was seized solid and all seals were shot. Well I got everything together fine but the new brake pads seam to be too thick to let the drum slide over. I tried driving it in some but gave up since i didn't want to destroy the pads, so I tried grinding the lip a little, but didn't help.

So do you guys have any tricks I can try. Its been a while since I had to do these, haven't ridden the quad in 4 or 5 years due to college.

    Thanks for any input...

got it on. turned out the large "snap ring" around the inside of the drum had rusted so much it was getting pushed out, decreasing the diameter of the opening. Took it out, cleaned up the channel it sits in and wire wheeled the ring. Works fine now.

Now I just need to find the right side body panel that went MIA.
