    I've got a similiar setup on my truck...some different componants, but basically the same deal. It helped, but I doubt it added 27HP.

    If your going to up your fuel pressure, make sure you have something to check your A/F ratio. No use dumping extra fuel in if the engine can't use it. 14 psi is a lot if you don't have a lot of mods, and a small change in psi can make a big differance in how rich/lean the engine will run.

    I also would like to know if this setup works. I more interested in getting mpg than hp.

    Best thing I did for mileage was exhaust and a good ignition system. I added about 2 mpg with the Jacobs ignition I had installed and it ran much smoother too.
    Aluminim heads 202/160, cam 525/510 - 219/226 - 112 lsa, 50mm tbi, 90lb inj, 15psi fuel pressure, full roller setup, MSD ignition, magnaflow, headers, 3.73 with Eaton posi, 700R4 shift kit and 2000 stall, 255 lph fuel pump, and open air element.

    I have cfm-tech's tbi spacer and pod spacer.
    I also have a pressure regulator and inline fuel pressure gauge (set to 13.5psi)
    MSD6a ignition with MSD wires cap and rotor
    K&N Aircharger with hypertech powercharger to raise K&N
    catco hi flo cat and flowmaster cat back 3" single out

    My net increase was from 14.5 - 15.2 mpg to 16.3 - 17.8
    all depending on the right foot, A/C and 4wd


    unfortunately aerodynamics is against us.

    If your worried about gas milage then why 14 psi? Thats high even for a mild built motor.
