As long as you go with a quality high-flow like Dynatech or Random you should be emissions legal. There should be a noticable difference in power, especally down low. Good luck!

My truck hasn't been too impressive lately and I think it's time for a new cat (considering it has 103k on original). I want to keep it emissions legal b/c here in Cleveland we have friggin e-check. I would love to run no cats but I don't have the time to be messing around with putting one on when it comes time for my e-check (every other year). So, my question is, does anyone know if I will still be emissions legal with a high flow cat? Or will it be a close call? Right now all I have is Pro Comp intake w/ K&N and Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back 3" duals. Will the high flow cats make a noticable difference?
Thanks.

I have had a couple of Random Technologies cats. and they were very nice.
I have had two Random cats on my f-body for 7 years. They are well made and work fine. I understand there are several other good manufacturers out there, too.
